Kyla — Layer-1 full of potential — my story
Everything started not so many years ago. Back in 2008. I was a high school student with a focus on computer science, math, physics and english language.
Born in poor family in a small rural town, I grew up by learning from books and my grandfather (PhD in Agriculture, Genome sequencing in wheat varieties). All his lessons revolved around knowledge and science in general. I became passionate about Math since I was 4th grade and then naturally by playing games, building/rebuilding machines I became interested in Computer science. I became 11th in Math at national competitions early on, than 3rd in physics but that just fueled my drive for knowledge even more. I wanted to make my grandfather and my mother proud.
When I started computer science in 8th grade something in me unlocked that took a long time to realize. The idea that you can talk to a machine and do something together. That was revolutionary to me. That opened up so many possibilities and so many potential problems as well.
Life took me in another direction by having to do manual labor to support myself and help my family and a career in CS was not possible at that time. I did not forget my passion and all my studies but I worked hard to build a career and business from the ground up.
